Re: Browning Citori ???
Thanks for the replies. Only reason I was going to shoot 2 3/4 was that I have a bunch of 1 3/8" 3" loads I shoot. They are all 3's and 4's, but they have some juice to them, and I was assuming they would mule kick in this over and under. I do have a few cases of 3" 1 1/4 also. I clea...

Browning Citori ???
Cool story but no need for all the details. I was given a browning citori 1986 30" barrles, fancy suitcase kind of storage box. Still have the factory chokes, and all the goodies. Anyway deal was for me to get the gun I have to hunt it, and print him pictures of the gun in some hunts. The gun h...

Re: Farm Land Leasing
500-600 for corn. I'm about 4 hours north of you. That’s what the landowner gets? I’m assuming your talking gross to the farmer? The farmer owns the land. That is a lease spot, and that is about the going rate. He plants as much as I want to pay for. I am the owner of another place, and it is plant...

Re: Do you think MS Flyway is shifting West?
My take, and I did listen to the podcast. I do agree with what they are saying, however there are more duck holes above us than ever. Missouri is the new Arkansas with 100's of pits going in every year. Same goes for TN, KY, and anywhere else that can be flooded. I think they not so much shifting as...

Re: Present day roll call
Here!!! Do not live in MS anymore, but I check here every day. Facebook site is okay on some stuff, and well it's pretty much what you would expect on other stuff. The podcast are great though. Turns a lot of pictures, and stories I read on the site into 1 hour, hear them tell it, hunting story gold.

Re: led headlight
Bump for a classic thread...... My 2 headlamps finally bit the dust. Since there are so many "pretenders" out there on ebay that look exactly like the ones that we all bought several years ago, does anyone have a current reliable source? I just bought 2 of these a few weeks ago. They are ...

I did the challenging, dabbling ducks, and 3-4 different regions. Only missed a black duck. Some are easy some are not.

Been working on ours the last 3 weekends. Still have about 5 more loads of brush to put on. Big blinds = comfort. Big blinds = pain in the booty to brush.

Re: How many of you guys shoot TSS?
I understand the concept of shooting smaller loads since the shot size vs steel is so much different. I still do not see for me as it being the next big load for waterfowl due to cost. If you can get it down to $1.50 a shell you are looking at 375 a case. I know the benefits of TSS however I do not ...

Re: How many of you guys shoot TSS?
TSS for turkeys, figured it would be to much money for ducks. Only reason I say to much money is that I shoot the cheapest shells possible. I couldn't imagine shooting 2-3 cases of tss in 3" 1.25oz.

Re: Duck Band Rules
Supposedly it was formed way back when, and agreed on. That was 20 years ago my best guess. It is something every year from not members not working, members being mad cause nobody called them when it was good, guest problems, shot calling (Tommy Shoulda Shoot'em: should have shot them there. Me: Why...
