Re: trophy/man rooms?

Same here. Always enjoy talking to the seasoned guys and hearing their stories of past hunting trips and learning from them. If they would put their stories down on paper I imagine we could put together one heck of a book just from the older members on here. Hearing stories about the days of old, ca...

Re: Prayer Request and story

Prayers going up for you two. Marriage is hard enough without a major struggle. Don't be too proud to ask for help along the way. I'm sure many on here will help you out whether it's something serious or just someone to grab a drink with and talk to.

Re: Paris

A DS militia doesn't sound like a bad idea at all just saying. Always considered France a cowardly bunch but hats off them to taking it to the jihadists sobs. I think aside from our dumbass cowardly POTUS that our Congress is afraid to make a move because of the Iraq invasion after 9-11. But it soun...

Re: Parking a big truck

Dude backup cameras make hooking up trailers solo so much easier. For that reason and many others I will never have a vehicle without one going forward. I have a friend who has an F250 with a rear and front camera. The front camera only comes on up 5MPH when in gear. I'm looking to see if that will ...

Re: Parking a big truck

Are you a married man? If so, another thing to get used to is the chin music from the passenger seat "There's a good spot, why don't you park over there?" "Why do we have to park here?" :) Can relate to this. I try to make sure I can pull through to the next spot so I don't have...

Re: Ok...What's Yall's Take On

We are heading down a baadddd road. The powers that be caved to the almighty dollar. Now football teams will be protesting to demand they get paid. They just gave way too much power to student organizations particularly the sports teams bringing in the money. This is just another example of the mil...

Re: The Yeti of Dog Kennels

I bet it lasts way longer than the cheap ass PetMate I use. I do like the locking door and drain plug for easy cleaning. Wonder if the Mud River covers will fit them? Bet these start showing up at DU events sooner than later as raffle items and giveaways.

Re: Netflix recommendations

Obviously Breaking Bad first and foremost. Most of this was stuff the wife wanted to watch but we have been through Friends, The League, Parks and Rec (Ron Swanson is awesome), Suits. I've watched without her Walking Dead, Marco Polo, SoA. Looking forward to Narcos soon.

Re: Initiative 42

Like someone said above need to consolidate the administration, statewide bidding, and bulk buy along with standardization to make bulk buying more powerful. At one unnamed elementary school in Rankin Co. I went into at least 10 different classrooms before school started while helping teachers move ...

Re: Initiative 42

To say teachers can't and usually aren't fired is not true. In Rankin County they won't necessarily fire a teacher but the teacher usually resigns from administrative pressure. In the past few years the amount of time spent planning by the teachers, training for teachers, and overall higher standard...
