Re: Ask DS: Car decision
we drive ours to 200k before we buy new. Never have any problems other than brakes and an occasional water pump. 95k miles is nothing for a vehicle now a days. If it was paid for, that would be an easy decision. Keep it and drive it! you will hate a maxima or altima having a family that big. We had ...

@ Old Canton & Spillway in Ridgeland - Cappy's/Valero is where I get mine. The pump is in between the car wash and the store. If you don't like that place, you can cross the reservoir and get it at Mac's on Spillway in Rankin County - Left Side of the road right past Kroger. also - deerfield min...

Re: Tripod Feeders?
Hunter, I know it will be a big PIA to do this, but it's what we have done and it's offset the coon problem. We built a 15 ft "L" pole and set it in the ground. We converted tripod feeders into hanging style by attaching a couple of eye bolts into either side and running a cable to a winc...

Re: Tripod Feeders?
I use the boss buck 600 Lb feeders. The first set I bought were the 300Lb versions and being that my place is 2 hours away, the deer were draining them about every 2 weeks during February and March while the browse was limited. I had these feeders out for close to a year with corn in them before the...

Re: Fathers Learn from my Mistake [MUST READ]
I have been close to your shoes and I can tell you it wasn't and still isn't easy on me considering what the consequences should have been. I'm glad your little man is ok! I took my 4 yr old fishing last yr as we were absolutely burning the crappie up on the boat slips at the Rez. Thankfully on this...

Re: Mike Pentacost - 450 confirmed turkey kills
I think what most fail to realize is that back in the day, people shot way over the limit on turkey birds. I know a few old school turkey hunters that would kill 15+ a year in MS whether it be with a rifle or shotgun. Most of these were on the river, when it was all big timber and there were no larg...

Re: Ol Tom Turkey Vest - A++
I love mine. Got the essentials in it and the gun stock sling was a handy add on You ain't had it very long. It'll be crap by next season if you hunt as much as I do. I love the features of the vest and all the pockets but quality sucks. I dropped mine off today to have it sewed on and repaired. Le...

Re: Stolen 4 wheeler from deer camp
If you had a seperate policy on your 4 wheeler then they will pay, doesn't matter where it was stolen from at the time. Mine got stolen 2 years ago from our woods in the middle of no where and I filed a police report and a claim and had a check 3 weeks later for what i considered more than fair mark...
