Re: Planting millet
I spread some in standing water once. Real shallow mud flats kind of operation. Came up very well. I guess it'll be a timing issue, so you don't have mature millet out there too long before season. If you do get a nice stand keep a close eye on it or the worms will clean you out.

Re: Pit concealment
I would recommend seeing what you can and can't do if its not your property as was already mentioned. No use for you to bust your tail on something that's going to be destroyed/sprayed down the road. I have tried to plant reeds and similar plants that are present on nearby ditch banks to go for the ...

That there looks like sheet.
Good question. I saw some the other day. Thought one of the dogs had managed to eat the entire tennis ball collection.

Re: Boat ramp?
I always thought a good ramp to get at catfish needed to be a little rough. Kinda one of those "Honey we're getting close....I can smell it!" Jorts are the members only common attire topped off with a trucker hat.

Re: No wonder the US is headed for trouble.
I had a lengthy discussion about No Child Left Behind and Common Core yesterday afternoon with someone in the know on these topics. It just sounds hopeless for these kids and in turn the future of this country. I can't decide whose fault it is...parents or federal govt. I'm going with 100% blame on ...

Re: New product
I guess everybody is getting water bottled under their name now. I picked up two flats from CVS(it was convienient) the other day. I forget what the name was, but I swear some mexican had his feet in the water before it got bottled. One of my sweaty workers had this to say "It was cold and wet ...

Re: Duluth Trading Company
The fire hose stuff is legit if your looking for toughness. Not my choice for hot weather and don't think your gonna sneak into a waistline smaller than what you really are. I think you can toogle off of that stupid cartoon image on the website. I still don't understand why they do that. Must be a Y...

I've seen one or two on the thickness scale you described. Gives me the shivers every time.
Catch one in the road. They have that speed bump action when they get big and fat.

Re: planting cowpeas between corn rows
I may be a little slow here. I still can't figure out the in between the rows and not running over the corn. Are you gonna move the planter units on the toolbar or do you have a middle planter? I'm with wingman on the growth rates. Take pictures I'd like to see the results.

Re: planting cowpeas between corn rows
Would you be running over your corn? Could also complicate spraying down the road. If your corn grows well it may shade the peas a good bit. I like the idea though. May work out better to plant them the same day in the future.
