Re: Gator Hunting and Emergency Rooms

Nothing to feel bad about. Like you said, it was a freak accident. I had a great time and so did Hunter. That's all I've heard about is that 12 footer and how its my fault that I should have got that second hook in him LOL.

Gator Hunting and Emergency Rooms

First of I'd like to thank Quinn, and Rick for taking Hunter and myself along for a gator hunt last night. We both had a blast. That's all Hunter has talked about today. https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xpf1/v/t1.0-9/997053_10203848968518851_8778253999087804455_n.jpg?oh=b16e317e9b02...

Re: WMA duv hunts

I hunted one and was very pleased. A lot of work went into the field, and it paid off. Shot my limit fairly quick and watched my youngan shoot the rest of the afternoon. I was pretty crowded but not that bad.. It amazed me to see people come to that field and have violations. You kinda have to expec...

Re: Arkansas Timber Hunts

If I was planning a timber shoot, I would plan it on a full moon.

Public land is a great option as well.

Re: Arkansas Timber Hunts

Slicks is the only place I would recommend for a timber shoot.

Anywhere else and you're hunting small patches of woods that just aren't going to produce consistently.

Re: what's the largest spread you ever hunted over?

Our typical rice field spread is 200 to 250 decoys. I'm a firm believer in strength in numbers. Small spreads work, I've seen it, but we leave our decoys out in the same position from opening day to closing day so We'd have to pick up 200+ decoys if we wanted a smaller spread. We're toying with the ...
