Re: Will Roundup Kill Young Pines?

crackhead is right. Keep it off the foliage and you'll be fine, but don't spray over the top of them. Imazapyr can be sprayed over the top of them as long as it's not candling longleaf.

Re: Army worms

I've sprayed some the last 2 weeks or so with Intrepid 2F and as far as I can tell it wiped them out. It was $240/gallon but it only took 4 oz/ac. Sevin was $120/2.5 gal but like Tedl10 said the rate was higher and per acre cost was higher.

Re: Ford rim

Just sold a set of Enkei rims that were on my Tundra when I bought it. Fella that bought them showed me a picture of one of his that split like that. Said he hit a pothole and heard the tire blow out. Didn't realize the rim was split till he went to take it off and it wobbled. Said he was lucky it d...

Re: Spraying milo/WGF Sorghum

Thanks guys. The seed has not been treated so I won't be using Dual. Sounds like I need to go with 2,4 d. The ground has been tilled so I've already got a nice, clean seed bed. I just know how this ground responds to disturbance this time of year and I'll have one huge field of sesbania and sicklepo...

Spraying milo/WGF Sorghum

Gonna try some milo (WGF Sorghum) this year. Not a big area - about 8 acres. What would you recommend spraying it with and when should I spray it? I haven't planted yet but should get it in the ground today or tomorrow but could be as late as next week. My main concerns are sesbania, sicklepod, and ...

Re: Quail trail mix

Ragweed and partridge peas are good quail plants, especially as brood cover. Hopefully your partridge peas will catch up. May just take a year for them to get going. What are your long term maintenance plans for this patch?

Re: SEC Network

I wish they would let you pay a subscription, say $20/month, and stream it online. I know they have contracts and such that keep them from doing that but I'd happily pay it. We don't do cable or dish anymore. Too dang much cost for too much crap we don't watch. $7.99 Hulu works pretty good. Got plen...

Re: Man=0--Hog=1

My boss bought one of the MINE systems last spring. I think he caught 12 the first night, 19 two nights later, and 10 two nights after that. All in the edge of a cornfield. Whole sounders each time. Those suckers will notice a vacuum and fill it up quickly. I have no mercy for a hog. I've shot 200 p...

Re: ? for those with young kids - especially girls

Not I, but we've been trying to go see it and never got a chance to. Guess we will wait for it to come out on DVD and just buy it. I do know Sofia the First and Jack by heart if that counts toward your heartache. I'm in the same boat. Wife has been pushing to take her to it, just hasn't happe...

Only duck I killed this past weekend. Totally worth it. No need to tell my wife how much this bird is going to cost!
