Re: Higdon Pulsator Decoys (troubleshooting)
I had three last season down to one this season. Both have pump problems. I don't need them since I had my accident in November. Glad to know you can get the pumps from Higdon. Thanks for the info......

Great Afternoon
This is my third hunt since I lost my leg on Nov. 23 and it was one to remember. We killed a four man limit in two hours (2:00 to 4:00). Fourteen mallards and the rest drake woodro's. I also killed my 12th band this afternoon. The LORD has blessed me in so many ways, but I'm grateful for everyday I ...

Re: Pumping
When we use to do that in this bitter cold weather the water would run under the ice all the way to the lowest riser and go out. Never helped us.

Well Guys....
Well guys I had to go back to hospital and have another surgery on my leg because of a second infection. I'm so ready to try and go duck hunting again. From what I've heard I haven't missed a whole lot. I won't have but weekends to hunt because of hyperbaric treatments every day for the next three w...

Re: All I want for Christmas
All I want for Christmas is just the opportunity to go a couple of times. I would hunt 48 to 52 days on a normal year, this year has been very different. I have been one time and that was saturday. If Santa could bring me a lower left leg that would be great. If my leg would hurry-up and heal that w...

Re: Saturday is the day
The Lord granted me the opportunity to go saturday, so I took him up on it. As we kneeled by the waters edge of the slough to have a prayer, the orange glow in the east was truely a wonderful sight. With a little mallard chatter in the air as we were giving our thanks to the Lord I realized what a b...

Re: Saturday is the day
Thank all of ya'll.... The great comments motivate me even more. Today has been a rough day, lots of pain. I did manage to get my crew to Holly Springs and get them started on a erosion control project. I will post some pics of saturdays hunt. Thanks again for the comments.

Saturday is the day
Guys, I'm 33 years old and I just lost my lower left leg on the 23rd of November in a working accident at the Yazoo National. After nine days at the MED, four operations, and an infection, I feel like I may be ready to try. It's been 23 days and I feel great, except for the phantom pains. My buddy t...

Re: Remington 11-87
I've never had any problems with mine ( 1187 SP 3" ). The gun does alot better when you just wipe it off, my father cleaned his once a week and didn't have the success I had with mine. The gun of mine hardly ever gets cleaned, its been used for everthing imaginable. Mine has been terrific!! The...

Re: Question about leaving crops
I wouldn't think that much food is gonna be available after all this rain we are getting with high temps. and high humidity. I have some corn thats starting to swell, beans are starting to rot, my millet is laying on the ground after all the heavy downpours (it will start to sprout end of next week)...
