Re: Crimson & Arrowleaf
No, not at all SWAG. Heck, what I have done for years has seemed to work really well for me. Eveything that I plant on the home place is for turkeys and turkeys only. I am not a deer hunter at all!!! If the deer use them I try to get rid of them!! Deer can cause distruction of turkey plots or young ...

Re: Crimson & Arrowleaf
What specific variety of clover are you talking about the has stolons or rhizomes?? Does not hurt to put a little nitrogen on crimson after a couple of froost. It does use it in the early stages for foilage and stem growth. All clover only produces nitrogen when it begins to bloom in the early sprin...

Re: quick fix fo water control pipes
My opinion is that by the time you dig out to fix the pipe thats there, with the cost of supplies and time spent... Just go ahead and replace it with a plastic one... You will be dealing with that original pipe, money and time, way longer than... you would it you just installed a new one!!!

Re: 2011 Hatch
Its been the best hatch I've seen in a long time in central Montgomery county. Saw poults very early too... Middle to late May had four hens out in the horse pasture behind the house everyday, they had a total of 34 about 2 weeks old. Out of those 34 or so, 15 are still alive. But I have seen a coup...

I dont know of anything that would have a residual and kill army worms. May be a product out there, but I bet its super high cost per acre.

Re: is it too late?

They are killing me on the young and tender bermuda grass. Better get your spray rigs out.... They absolutely love millet in its first 14 to 21 days. I quit...

Another Green Bean Morning
We busted Ice for over an hour and sliding sheets under sheets, we finally got our hole opened by the use of square shovels and steel rakes. Boy was I in for the treat of the season!!! Had mallards stacked on top of mallards a daybreak. All seven of us watched them trying to fit in our hole, holding...
