Re: Concordia Hunting Club
I am honestly not sure. Just throwing it out as I am sure someone knows. I’m not asking for privileged information that would not be public record in court filings. Just want to know if anyone has heard anything.

Re: Concordia Hunting Club
No, apparently a legal claim was made by someone saying that some of the actual land that is Concordia Rod & Gun Club is not lawfully owned. Something to do with Arkansas not claiming the land as being owned by the state of Arkansas. The version I heard didn’t make sense, but is apparently being...

Concordia Hunting Club
I don’t want to start any rumor mongering, but I was told there is an interesting land issue going on right now with Concordia...in that there is a theory the land doesn’t exist...legally speaking.
Anyone heard about this issue or know anything about it that cares to enlighten us?

Re: Should 2019-2020 Deer Season in South Delta
I tend to think that the season South of 12 should be closed or should only open January 1 and close January 31, at best.
If I were a River Camp member, given what I know, I’d be in the side of restraint, even if that meant not deer hunting this year.

Should 2019-2020 Deer Season in South Delta
be shut down due to the unprecedented flooding?
I’ve heard of some camps in the South Delta that will likely not deer hunt, regardless of the State’s decision. I’ve heard of River camps all the way to Memphis that are contemplating the same thing...voluntary shut down.
Thoughts?

Re: State of the Migration
I think the wildlife population in the South Delta May be on the cusp of an impact that has effects a decade or more in length. Behind the MS River levee has been flooded since January. The South Delta, as mentioned, has been underwater since January. I’ve heard reports of massive deer kills across ...

State of the Migration
What are your current thoughts on the migration, specifically as it pertains to MS and if you see changes, what is the cause. I think the migration is moving west and stopping short as compared to 20 years ago...heck, even 10 years ago. Causes: (1) changing agriculture practices; (2) changing habita...

Sad to hear. The owners are worth hundreds of millions. They probably got tired of dealing with it.

Re: Does it bother anyone else
If I invite someone to do anything, from dinner at the house, to hunting and fishing, I don’t expect them to do anything or pay anything. I’m not gonna provide their shells, but I view an invitation as a gift to someone with no expectations of things in return. That’s just me though.

Re: Anyone seeing ducks?
There are at least two factors that will make this one of the worst seasons on record. 1. It never got cold in the Midwest for an extended period of time; and 2. Even if the aforementioned was not a factor, there is so much water now that they’ll be scattered everywhere. Between the potential preval...

High MS River & Season Closure
Any chance the hunting season west of Highway 61 is prematurely closed this year due to the rising Mississippi River?
Was it two seasons ago this happened for deer season?

Thoughts on CWDs Affect on Duck Hunting
If CWD becomes a major issue in MS, which is a pretty distinct possibility, do you think we will see more interest or participation in duck hunting from traditional deer hunters turned off by the prevalence of CWD?
