No Deltamud it's not. It's in East Central MS, way off the beaten path.

Interesting High Water Obstacle - pic
The rain and higher water presents some challenges. I didn't think I'd have to worry about this type of obstacle in the dark. He may not be hungry, but I'd kill myself trying to get away if I had stumbled over this lizard. Memo to self: Large sidearm, Bowie knife. https://i.imgur.com/xriUM2Hl.jpg

Never Too Cold To Fish
When I got back to the boat ramp, it was about a 32 degree no duck morning, and I saw this, I couldn't help but laugh at this guy. He's not entirely lazy, he stuck his head out of the window and tried to chat up my fishing luck today. Told him no fish and no ducks. Notice the technique, rod propped ...

Re: Alright after the facepaint post I made
I wore face paint before it was cool. It was 78-79, 80? and we were trying to hide as best we could. In order to hide the ugly paleface, most grew a beard, some were too young or had work/wife issues with a beard, others wanted to really get commando hidden. So with our Zippo lighters we burned wine...

Re: Crazy World
This is beyond tragic. On another forum, sources that should be "in the know" report that the good guy that was killed had a Taurus Judge with birdshot. No one knows if he just had his snake gun handy, or the deceased chose it as his personal protection/conceal carry. The bad guy had a .38...

Hey crazy mofo always good to see you posting, always a lotta fun, I appreciate you sharing food ideas and swamp swami wisdom of the ancients, I read them all. The hipsters are using the newest electronic message delivery system, and this ain't it, don't ask me what it is because I have gray hairs o...

Re: Proposal introduced by Cindy hired Smith to move waterfowl framework close to January 31
I don't like politicians monkeying with duck season, even if it's in my favor, because the next time it may stink, very very risky. When Trent Lott jammed through some changes to "extend" but really it was a shift, to January 31st, it went okay. But again politicians meddling is never a go...

Re: Suppressors, trusts
Trusts take 120 days longer, on average, than an individual Form 4 for approval, some take longer, some have waited a year. I hear a lotta hype about new barcodes from the big company, (SS) and new processes, but the ATF is apparently not impressed, and they do things the ATF way. The simple Form 4 ...

Re: A little off-season fun
Utterly hysterical, I love the crosshairs out front, leading as they're on the run.
Will they hit the same field the next night, or most every night, or is it shot out for a few days?

Re: A little off-season fun
What fun!!! I didn't know what this topic was about, just checked it. I respect a man who knows how to sling lead at night with infrared gear. Friggin' hog's are such a nuisance. I'd offer my services but don't have the scope for the game plan. I have suppressors, ready for .308, 7.62x39, 5.56 etc. ...

Re: Public Land
I'll go on record as saying I don't' care how they bought it, or how much it cost, or who got punted out of their camp, or what the dumb name is, as long as we can hunt it, I'm giddy with delight. All we need is some gravel on the road and some paint or WMA signs on the border trees, and we are good...

Re: Do the crime, do the time, pay the fine......
Hey Finis welcome to the forum. Whearabouts are these counties? Mississippi or Texas?
What's the deal, too many people for gun or other reason?
(I should say my deer killing skills are below average)

Re: Smoked duck...
Here's what I posted a while back. My old smoker rusted out, so my nephew was allowed to put into low earth orbit with Tannerite. This grill worked just fine as a smoker. Allegro is convenient, but you could easily make your own, it's mostly soy sauce. We don't bother with Italian salad dressing any...
