Re: South Louisiana fishing report?
Had to make an audible with the water conditions and the wind that kicked up early this morning. Caught 14 reds, 8 founder, and 12 green trout along the north shore of lake borgne this morning. River has the specks spread thin.

Re: South Louisiana fishing report?
If you are fishing the Delacroix area, I'd suggest running out to the south part of black bay, down around stone island and south towards the iron banks. Also heard folks doing well out towards breton sound islands but I haven't been out there yet this summer so I Cant give you a good report. If you...

Re: Venice Marsh Report
I have buddies that have been ketching fairly steady down there; specks and reds! But if you want a better report from a direct source, I would PM Jeff Anastasio. That's his wheel house down there.

I got a full bed with frame that is in great shape. I'll gladly give to them. But you got to come down here and pick it up.

Re: Who needs a mud boat?
To get even more Technical, A mud boat is different than a go-devil or a surface drive. Mud Boats are actually a different breed, where the shaft and prop are beneath the hull of the boat. I have no dog in this hunt because I hunt the adjoining parish but just thought I would clarify.......... “An O...

Re: Not staying logged in
Frequently when I go to MSDucks.com/Ducksouth.com the site says I'm not logged in, even though I check the box to keep me logged in. I haven't cleaned out my cache. It is happening on both my laptop and smart phone. Is anyone else having this problem? How do I correct it? Same issues here. I just l...

Re: Crawfish thread
Coming from a coonass in South LA, the old pour salt on crawfish to purge is just wasting salt. To purge crawfish, it takes time (read days) and lots of freshwater circulating to flush a crawfish. Now, one thing that I cannot stand in a sack of crawfish is twigs and bait. That shows that the crawfi...

Re: Need a new bow
I just did the same thing. And had both brands on the table as well. Ended up going with the Matthews Creed XS. Been shooting it for a month or so now and it's a bad little dude. My draw length is only 26 inches so a small frame bow suits me better plus it makes it easier to deal with hunting in tig...

Re: Fuel tank question
Yes it will help. I have one on my 27LT with a plastic tank. But you still want to minimize water contamination in your gas as much as possible. If you do go with an aluminum tank I would figure out a way to insulate it as much as possible to limit the condensation build up, and keep it either alway...

Re: Fuel tank question
I'm building an aluminum fuel tank for my boat. What size pick up line do I use for inside the tank? Any suggestions? Unless you plan on keeping that thing slap full of gas all the time it's going to sweat worse than a plastic tank does, which basically boils down to your tank manufacturing water i...

Re: Moving past the basics
Thanks for the suggestions. This type of stuff is what really helps someone like myself that doesnt have professional training abilities. my trainer did a great job, but I'd like to continue my dog's progression as much as possible until I decide to bring him back to trainer for another round of for...

Re: Moving past the basics
Lets use a more direct approach. How do you get a dog to quit "Shopping" the pile??? I guess there are a lot bigger issues that I could be dealing with than this but it just kind of gets to me. I recall him immediately after he gets to pile, but dude is like a kid in a candy shop. Maybe he...
