Re: Mcalister gear
Picked up a green Barbour jacket last year, well actually early Christmas present from wife. I think it's equivalent or a little thicker than the shelter cloth from Filson but don't quote me on that. But man I think it will last me a long time. Tried on all the Filson and Barbour stuff at Circle7 an...

Re: Establishment control over Mississippi fading?
I know this guy won't be voting for any of the incumbents for a few years at least. They all need to go.

Re: 6 mile lake scandal.
Are there any state government watchdog groups that send representatives to these type meetings for government agencies to keep an eye on them? I know there are for the feds but what about on the state level?

Re: SIx mile lake refuge on the agenda at tomorrows meeting
Ask her to send you the minutes for this past meeting. Wonder if it was actually discussed and she doesn't know.

Re: Teaching hold
Past few days have been applying light ear pinches with fetch and she's reaching for it so I'll turn it a little every day over the next week. She's now moving to me from sit and hold but having to work on her dropping when she gets to me now. We've had a few done correctly so I just immediately say...

Re: New Mexico pronghorn trip (pic heavy)
Congratulations! Enjoyed the pics. I would like to hunt them too. Can't say why I have the interest. It could be more of a reason to go see the county where the antelope roam more so than the killing. Ha! Same here. Would love to take a trip to somewhere new like that with main reason being new sit...

Re: Teaching hold
If she is still not holding tightly, increase weight of bumper or shake her head in order to make her drop it. Start giving little ear pinches instead of the lip pinch and use the command 'fetch' when you place it back in her mouth after she drops it. Do this only a couple of times and then give ha...

Re: DSU active shooter???
Glad it is over and he is gone, but They caught him coming back across the bridge at Greenville when a License plate reader caught his tag...... How many roads/bridges, etc.. are out there where your license plate is being read and your movements tracked without our knowing. I didn't know they were...

Re: Teaching hold
Got her on the ground with hold for a couple of days. Got her moving last night with hold. It was just a simple hold on the ground then I backed away a few steps and slapped my hip for heel and kept saying hold. She got into heel position with a hold so I quickly grabbed bumper, commanded drop, and ...

Re: defensive driving....
Somewhat proper driving, use of turn signals, how to run divided highway turn spot, and left lane etiquette are apparently not required as part of passing a driving test any more. Oh the best is when there is short lane you can get on to merge into traffic off a side street and a dumbass STOPS and w...

Re: defensive driving....
don't know about your towns, but starkville has become a defensive driving town...no look pull-outs into heavy traffic, looking and still pulling out in front of somebody, floating lanes while txting, floating lanes while not txting.... tell your students to keep their heads on a swivel...it ain't ...

Re: Teaching hold
Agree with the gradual process. This week I have been just been doing two 15-30 seconds holds on a table then throw a couple of fun bumpers, rinse and repeat but before getting back on the table do a little sit with distractions like bouncing a ball or throwing a stick or something then back to the ...
