Re: Place to stay in Marks?
Best place to stay in Marks would be Batesville There may be some folks that know of a small house actually in or around Marks to be rented and I would bet it would cost about $500 for 3 months.

Re: Anybody else here this???
i recently saw an article about similar situation in wyoming where a family is fighting uncle sam over threatened fines and levies for building a small pond on land they owned by damming a creek that was completely on their own property. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/09/19/us/regulatory-war-fought-ov...

Re: Remington 1100 Info
It is reasonable IF it's a gun you are really wanting. A 2 3/4" gun with a 30" barrel would be a great trap gun (if you get new chokes for it), but not a good duck gun. Yes you can shoot 2 3/4" loads for ducks, but you are really limited by that fact plus you can't shoot steel thru a ...

Re: Remington 1100 Info
Depending on condition $300-450. Full choke will hurt it. 2 3/4 gun so it will limit you duck hunting He doesn't say it's 2 3/4". I have that exact gun. Mine is a 3" with the same 30" barrel and it came with a fixed full choke. I sent the barrel to Briley to put in threads for interc...

Re: 2015 mule deer hunt
One of my favorite hunting quotes is: "A trophy is measured directly by the personal investment involved in its acquisition". Any shmuck (especially one with a some money) can hire a guide to plop them down and shoot a nice deer. But would a guy who paid someone to do all the front end har...

Re: Lacrosse sale
Just really looked, and the size selection is really limited. 7, 8, 14, 15 mostly. I saw that earlier. I was going to pass it along, except unless you have tiny feet, or giant feet, you are SOL. But probably a great deal if you have a young teen or for a woman. Length may be an issue in that case, ...

House listing on 6 Mile lake. It's sold, but the description is funny now. "Excellent Public Hunting access"

I'll be in Pine Bluff Arkansas Sept 23rd. Next closest place to heaven. Anyone who's been there can vouch.

Re: F250 considerations
I've heard good things about the 6.7 if you want to get an F250 diesel. Remember, the diesel jumps the price tag up a LOT! If you aren't towing heavier loads with some regularity, make the smart decision and save some pennies and get a gas engine (if you are buying new-ish). I assume you are wanting...

Re: Which caliber
Dont let him shoot it at anything but a deer and his adrenaline will be pumping so hard he could put a sherman tank on his shoulder and not feel it. I only let my kids shoot a 22 at a target when they were young.....my son was shooting a 7 mag when he was 7 I agree almost entirely. I don't know if ...
