Favorite Camo Pattern (Need Help)
Breakup and Shadowgrass hands down. Shadowleaf works well for mid to late turkey season. It's good to see so many people from the motherland support a hometown, home grown company like MO. I have a friend who swears by NatGear but I think he looks like a moldy turd. Does anyone use antiUV detergent ...

Trash ducks...is there such a thing?
I do know people who eat gizzards. I personally don't know how to cook them or marinade them. I wouldn't be opposed to the idea. It's mostly muscle--- of course so is beef tounge and I didn't particularly enjoy that.

Decent hotel in Jackson?
There are several hotels to stay in. Most are on the I55 and most are on the East side. Just drive along until you find one that looks good. Pickens' are slim once you travel past CountyLine (heading north) and Northside (heading south). Hilton, Marriot, Shoneys, There are even a few down town but a...

Without a doubt teal and woodies are the best. Mallards are very good and make up in size what little they lack in taste. Haven't eaten enough sprigs to have an opinion. Widgeon and greys are just fine with me. Rice field hollywoods are better than expected. Cans are also better than expected. Dos g...

Favorite Duck Call
I had a BGB but lost the bottom and reed in some iced over slough last year. Be careful. I have a Echo which is fairly smooth but Roten makes the best that I have blown. Where can I find Southern Game calls? I'd like to see what my hot air can do.

Hey GulfCoast
The results are interesting. It would be good to know 1)how the analysis compared over three or four years. Perhaps the robo will turn from a deke to a warning flag. 2)I'd also like to know the mean # of years and days per year that the hunters who opposed the robo hunted versus hunters who were for...

Sure I kill birds. I doubt that many like to watch them splash dead in the water more than I. The question really is I guess do you consider a hunt without a limit a failure. If you had a good hole and only killed a few limits a year would you resort to twirlies? Or atleast try them out. Or would yo...

Today in the Commercial Appeal (Memphis newspaper) there is an article about a fishing lure that is too good to be true. Now fishing is over-run with gimmicks--flying lure, power lure, ect. but this actually made the newspaper. The "Kick-tail" is a multi jointed lure. It looks like a Rapala jointed ...

trout fishing
I've fished the Little Red. Fly fishing. I noticed that the fish had some type of white fungus on them. This was several years ago. I didn't catch much of squat but some fellas with spinners and baitcasting rigs did fair. We fished just South of the damn in the tailwaters. Good river to fish in bell...

Zipper in your waders? Probably made by the same people who put screen doors on submarines or tits on a hog. That is just beggin to leak. What happens when it is 25 degrees and you zip the ole beans and frank up in you zipper because you are too frigid to work the damn thing. I make sure I stay away...

Waders
Well it is time to replace yet another set of waders. This last pair lasted three extremely hard years. They were Lacrosse canvas-nothing fancy. Naturally the hole developed in the upper inner thigh. Due to the unfortunate hole location my "chestnuts" got bathed in frigid January water before my fee...

What is your favorite hot weather outdoor activity?
I sure hope that your thumb is ok. It may be tough to load a shootgun with only four fingers and no opposible thumb. When it is hot I play golf and fish in the afternoon and read plenty about duck hunting. I dream about ice on my waders and how clear the night sky is when there is a gentle frost on ...

Just make sure you watch you booty. Just because there aren't white caps doesn't mean she isn't strong.
