Re: A little off-season fun
Just for fun, i'll start it off with this one: Not an iphone picture and not recent but maybe a conversation contribution and you'll get to see why I have enjoyed watching so many pigs die in your videos. Well yeah, I guess so! Haha, That’s a big flock you got there. When are we going? I’m headed h...

Re: A little off-season fun
I'd do my best to contribute to something like that. I'm the farthest thing from a photographer this site has ever seen but i'll give it a whirl. Just for fun, i'll start it off with this one: Not an iphone picture and not recent but maybe a conversation contribution and you'll get to see why I have...

Re: A little off-season fun
No kidding, I’ve learned to keep them covered for a brief period just to make sure. Sometimes I go ahead and plug them again anyway. It’s the only way to be sure. None of those three shots exited that sumbich shooting him with a 308. Shooting Hornady 165 grain SST‘s at about 2750 ft./sec. Knocks th...

Re: A little off-season fun
I'm having way too much fun watching pigs die on this thread. Keep em coming! Side note: It is amazing how big pigs will take a bullet, lay on the ground for a few seconds, and then spring back to life like they were shot out of a cannon like the one in the previous video did.

Re: A little off-season fun
I might be in need of a night vision setup. Stupid coons have found a way around my coon proofing. https://youtu.be/Z-ydB2pCyp8 That blind, behind the feeder, was destroyed by buzzards. WTF? Coons are the most destructive force on the planet when it comes to separating them from their corn. A...

Re: A little off-season fun
That's a sweet setup. We've considered one like that but we don't have hogs regularly enough to justify it, yet. Have you considered using one of the trail cameras that sends a picture to you as soon as it's tripped? This has helped us tremendously with killing hogs. Phone buzzes, look at the pic, ...

Re: Brain Trust Questions
Just whatever you do, don't let it fall off the pallet into the yard as you're trying to get it off of said pallet. Did that with a liberty 30 gun a couple years back because i was too hardheaded to ask anybody for help since i was new in town. Had to get all Egyptian on it with levers and blocks of...

Re: Doing WRP on our property
Digging this one back up out of the graveyard. Tica, did y’all go through with the wrp program like you discussed back in 08? How have you fared? Would you do it again? Anybody else want to share? We have 30 acres we’re considering putting in the 30 year agreement. I just can’t bring myself to give...

Re: LEO Rant
I wouldn't go that far but I've definitely lost respect (well, happened a long time ago) for our high government officials in DC. It just seems like a petty game. It's all about how they're portrayed in the media. Who's the winner, who's the loser, etc. Most of them don't seem to care about policy a...

If it's because of that wingbone turkey call, I'm gonna raid my dad's turkey vest next time we go visit!
