Re: Looking for Quail

I found a lady that has 100 left that we’re going to pick up tomorrow. TBost, I did find a lady that was selling Japanese Coturnix Pharoah Quail for a $1/bird. They don’t fly nearly as well as Bob white’s so could be perfect for training your pup. I believe she is near the coast. Her number is 601-3...

Re: Looking for Quail

I actually spoke to him earlier. He is out and the only birds he knows of is in Houston, Tx.

We’re looking for 100, but it’s not looking very promising

Looking for Quail

Does anyone know where I could buy ready to fly quail? The guy I have purchased from in years past is already out.

Re: Game Cameras

I have had great luck with the Browning cameras. I've had mixed results with Moultries, some have worked for years some haven't made it a season.

I bought two Stealthcams this year off camofire.com that have done good so far. Check camofire.com out they will run specials on cams from time to time.

Re: Vet

+1 on Amanda Camp. She's been great with my dog through some issues. Is a straight shooter and truly, truly cares about your dog. She sees a lot of sporting dogs so she's familiar with them.

Does anyone know where I could buy two or three pigeons for training? I live in the Jackson area.

Thanks

Hillhunter, I know Bulldog fans are probably beside themselves over the screenshot of the video you posted above, but thats not AJ Brown. That is some rapper, Boosie Badazz, he posted a video of.

Re: The Yeti of Dog Kennels

When the gunner kennels first came out I saw a video where the guy placed multiple different plastic dog kennels in his driveway in the summer heat to test the temperature on the inside. Using a laser thermometer he had the surface temperature of the driveway around 110 degrees. Each of the cheaper ...

Proposed turkey tagging system

There is currently a proposal on the table to install a turkey tagging system in the State of Mississippi that is coming up for vote this month. Turkey numbers are declining in the state so the NWTF and MDWF&P are in support of the data that may be gained from getting harvest results through a t...

Re: New Turkey Vest

Jeff, I bought the Cabelas vest with the kickstand recently and so far I really like it. Like just about all things Cabelas it is well made. The vest is extremely comfortable when using the stand and I even used it leaning up against a tree with exposed roots and made it comfortable because of an ev...

Re: snake boots

I bought the Cabelas Boa snake boot before bow season and love them. I wore them just about every time I went hunting, except when it was really cold. After a few days of breaking them in it was like wearing tennis shoes. They are a little pricey, but the Cabelas lifetime warranty made me feel bette...

Help needed from the ducksouth brain trust

Ive had the MPW Big Ditch waders for years and have been very satisfied with them. I really enjoyed the thinner waders because I do a good bit of walking. This past weekend I ripped a hole above the boot that I am afraid is too big to repair. I tried to order some more only to find out that Mack's h...
