Sorry for your loss, I lost my 14 year old Choco male on Wednesday. Came home from work and found him dead in the yard.

I would use the large size gray slag. It sets up much better than gravel does. It does cost a bit more though. We put it on our mile long road to the camp about 10 years ago and haven't had to put any more down since then.
