The age old debate ........Is length really important????
I shoot a 26" barrel for most of my shooting. I think anything less would be too short for me.

I like the Herter's foam ones the best because the paint is much more durable than the others. Another question, do you repaint your decoys, or just buy new o...

I keep everything but my shotgun, calls, and waders in a big bag in my truck. That way all I have to do is grab those 3 things, + coffee and something to munch on, and I'm out the door!!!

a perfect dove field.?
I'm hoping it's the one I've got planted now. I planted about 4 acres with a mix of Egyptian wheat,Brown top millet,Sunflowers, and Corn. It's right behind my lake and borders a fence row on the back side, with 3 or 4 dead trees. I think it's going to be pretty good [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.g...

Breakfast of Champions
If I have the time, I fix a BIG scrambled egg and sausage sandwich along with a Coke, and a large thermos of coffee. Then after the hunt I usually pickup some chicken tenders or whatever from the convenience store.

I prefer the green timber, but I only get to hunt in it a couple of times a year. Most of my huning is done on small lakes and rice fields.

My favorite has to be Mallards, then Pintails. But I kill way more gadwalls than anything else!
