Have you seen the forecast? 30% and 40% chance of rain Friday and Saturday. Not that it matters. It will not be the first panic show I have seen in the rain.

If you turn you dial to "P" instead of the green box (auto), it will stop the flash from popping up. In P mode, you will have to push the button on the side of your camera to pop up the flash.


I don't have any advice on the lenses, maybe someone else can jump in for that...

I have missed several shot this way. I have a Tamron 28-75 that the manual/auto focus button slides very easily. I never realize its moved until its too late.


The 1st portrait shot is very well done.

This event is soo much fun. It almost makes me sad that I will be in Orange Beach for Panic that same weekend..Almost.

My personal favorites are the man sleeping on the bench and the bus shot. They tell a story and have a very photojournalistic feel to them.
