Re: Hunting Quail with a Lab
May do alright in a 200 acre hay field on tame birds, but don't expect him to go all day long in bristling patches. Just like goose said you got about 45 minutes of hard hunting with a lab and they are done .

Re: standby hunting - new rules
Nope, atleast at the draw I went to all members of a party had to be signed up in one group, and your name could not appear more than once. Re: Meetings with the MDWFP
It is not just $5 either, it is $5 for every WMA and I thought I read if you applied for all the draws in one WMA it would be $25 for that WMA. IF the real reason is people not showing up for thier draws they should punish those people by charging them $100 or more for not showing, instead of milkin...

Where did you take a job at?
To add to what the others said, there are some decent cafes on hwy 11 in town. There is a bowling alley and movie theatre and that is it.
Riding 4 wheelers or playing on the creeks and rivers is what most people do

Re: DOGS DROWNING
They will come back when they get tired. Mine has always done this. Will swim up stream for what seems like an hour at a time in the pearl river (staying even with the bank/camp)waiting for a stick to float down. At the end of the day it looks like a beaver built a home on the bank.
