Brownells doesn't have them. I'm not sure how old it is but I would guess less than 10 years old (did they make SBE IIs 10 years ago? I don't know). I didn't know that about Benelli sending you parts. I will give that a shot.

It's not OSB. It's what I would call particle board. I guess it's like MDF but not as smooth. It's what you see used as sub floors in houses built in the 80's. That's what I thought at first too but from doing some reading it seems that if moisture ever gets to the particle board it will de-laminate and cause cracking of the tile/grout.
