How much training have you done with real ducks (either live or killed/frozen)? With real shooting?
Is this your first dog? What kind of dog do you have pedigree wise?
You could try live shooting over retrieving a Dokken deadfowl. I would also recommend training out of a blind/boat or whatever ...

I agree with the four-rivers layout boats and similar style craft. The problem with alot of these boates is the weight rating and horsepower rating. I cannot speak for the Gobblecams, but it sounds like they may be worth checking out. I did alot of investigating and field testing with cameras last year. Laws vary by state. But as a general rule, if you can navigate the water (from a traditional normal water level) and you stay in your boat at all times, you probably are legal.
