Wife and I went to Shapleys not long ago for the first time and I really didn't think it was in the same ballpark as Tico's as far as the steaks go. We like AJ's too. Haven't tried Char or the Parker House yet but they are on the menu. I highly recommend the large filet at Tico's.

What baitcaster do you guys recommend? I need to buy some new ones for bass. I haven't bought one in so long I need to know what is good. Are pinnacle's any good?

A pinnacle is not terrible for the money. I would not fish strictly with a pinnacle. I would make sure I had a couple of other reels ...

I like Ticos or Shapely's for steak, Parker House is good as well. If you head towards Madison and you want something different then try Anthony Z's (awesome enchillada's and you can bring your own wine). If you want good BBQ, then try the Pig Pen in Ridgeland (good bbq nachos) or the Haute pig in ...
