Re: Crop for combination of sun and shade

Here is a view of the duck hole looking North from the South bank of the break. The brush and trees in the foreground would need to be removed.

And yes, that IS a very large cypress tree.

Re: Crop for combination of sun and shade

Unstoppng the culvert drains the break. It does not hold water unless the culvert is stopped up. We don't stop up the culvert until we want the water to back up for another duck hole.

Crop for combination of sun and shade

First of all, I'm not a farmer and I'm new to managing property for waterfowl. I've always hunted public (in TN not MS) until a couple of years ago. That said, I have a cypress break through one of our farm fields that has an open hole with the entire southern exposure open to sunlight. Is there any ...

Re: Prescription Sunglasses

If you already have your perscription, try www.zennioptical.com. You can pick frames and they will deliver to your house for cheap. I've ordered prescription glasses and sunglasses. Same quality as if you got them from eye doctor. Takes about a week to 10 days.

This is the actual statement on thier web site

m

For the record, I like thier music but the only reason anyone heard Natalie's first amendment right to an opinion was because we gave her an audience by buying thier records and attending their concerts.

I will exercise my freedom by not being a part of that audience again. She can spout ...

I've always had good luck with Mack's. The guy is complaining because the presents his mother ordered him for Christmas are going to be late.

There is a spray on semi gloss poly. I had used some to seal the camo job I did on my sons' shotguns and decided to try the remainder on some repainted dekes. I think it's a good compromise. Some shine but not a lot and protects the paint.

I can't help but wonder ...

I see them putting on the cuffs. Did they cuff her hands behind her back?

Gun Dipping/Camouflaging

You can do it yourself and I promise you it's good enough.

Take a scotchbrite pad and scuff up the metal and wood. Wipe with a lint free cloth soaked in paint thinner to remove oils. Tape over what you don't want camoed. Paint the whole gun with a high quality flat khaki spray paint. Once that ...

Survey Question

This season alone should tell us we don't have a clue which 30 days the ducks are going to be in any given area.

I'd vote for a 3/120 season for that reason alone. Heck, I haven't killed 3 ducks in any one day all season anyway and it ends in less than 2 weeks.

Labs agression towards other dogs

I have the same problem with one of my labs. The first time she hunted with a dog other than her sister/kennel mate she ripped the dogs ear almost completely off. The kicker was, it was her mother.

I've corrected her severely everytime she's done it but it remains a problem. A poorly behaved dog is ...
