Re: What to do..What to do?

Thanks gordongekko,

Appreciate everyones feedback.

Thanks, Jake

Re: What to do..What to do?

7d...I'll pass. Yea its a good camera and all, but the 50d can put out the same quality and is half the price.

Yes the 1d is discontinued, but it's still a BAAADDD camera that puts out some sick images with the right glass. It's just the 8.2 megapixels makes me think twice and there resale isn't ...

What to do..What to do?

I'm upgrading all my stuff before season and am trying to figure out whether to go with a 1d MkIIn or go with a 50d. I'm already getting a Canon 70-200 f4 L, so the glass is covered.

I'd like to know what y'all would choose?

Thanks, Jake

Canon 100-400L FS

Canon 100-400 f4.5-5.6 L FS:

It's an older lens (UQ 2002), has some dust on the glass, doesn't effect the quality at all. I love this lens, but am selling it to upgrade cameras. The body is in overall good condition for its age. It's about the most versatile super telephoto lens there is with it's ...

The Great Oklahoma!

I'm not sure if I've ever posted on the ducksouth photog forum..

Here's some pictures from NW Oklahoma from Thanksgiving. Me and my dad got to the house at 2, he went straight to a isolated island thats about 100 acres that has the Salt Fork River surrounding it. At 5 me and my grandpa get the ...

Re: In a Perfect World

I'd rather have B's and C's. If you have A's and A+'s, then your running it to easy. With a B or C, your getting those corrections in, and not making yourself think your dog is better than what it is.

If I got out and ran a triple (longest bird being 75 yards) and he scored a A+, whats the dog or ...

Re: Birds, Birds, Birds!

If your going back to FF, why don't you just do bumpers rather than both?

What I'm thinking is, do a little FF tune up with bumpers only, heck I would just go back to collar fetch and walking fetch. Anyways just do bumpers, get out in the field, start short with say a double (1 bird, 1 bumper) and ...

Re: Birds, Birds, Birds!

If it was my dog and he ran out and stepped on the bumper, put his nose on the bumper, or blinked it and didn't pick it up, it'd be a bad day for both me and the dog.

1st thing I would do is go back to collar fetch or stick fetch or both, and spell it out for him, which it sounds like you already ...
