Re: Nashville Bachelor Party Eats

Looks like Kayne Prime for the "nice" dinner one night. Anyone heard or tried it? Looks good.

Good choice! Get the maple cotton candy bacon appetizer. It's almost too good to share, so order plenty for your table. The first time we went we ordered one and it was so good that we got them to bring ...

Re: Nashville-where to stay

I would stay at the Hilton if you want to do the Broadway thing at night. Union Station in the Gulch is nice too.

Definitely have lunch at Arnold's. Get there about 1045-1100 to avoid the crowd. Kayne Prime is a really good steakhouse. Husk downtown is great. Peace, Love, and Little Doughnuts is ...

Re: What to do in Kansas City, mizzu?

May be going to Kansas City Monday thru Friday. Looking for cheap entertainment to occupy my downtown. Plan to catch a couple royals games. What else is a must-do?

Thanks in advance.

Tobacon Resort around the Arenal Volcano is really nice. You have the Arenal Lake here La Fortuna is a decent sized town.

Flor Blanca Resort in the Santa Teresa/Mal Pais area- this on the Pacific. The best bakery I've ever been too is here- literally ate there every morning. The Cabo Blanco ...

Re: House moving

It cost my parents $20000 in 1992 to move a house that size about 6 miles, and that using a moving company whose owner was a friend of my parents. They had to cut the house into two sections.

If you're in the Jackson area, go buy your dough from Sal & Mookie's. If not, try to find a local pizza place that will sell you some of theirs.

Re: Business Credit Card

I have an American Express Hilton Honors Surpass Card. I stay in a hotel usually four nights per week, so the card earns me around 25000-30000 extra Hilton Honors points per month. Also, I get a free membership in to airline clubs in airports.

If you don't stay in a hotel often, I would get the ...

Boat Shifting Problem

I recently put my Tahoe ski boat with the 5.0 in the shop because it was not shifting from reverse gear to neutral to forward without a lot of effort. This did not happen every time I took the boat out last summer. The boat mechanic suspected the shifter cable needed replacing. He called today and ...

For Classic Creole restaurants:
Galatoire's
Arnaud's
Commander's Palace
Antoine's
Mr. B's Bistro
Court of Two Sisters
My personal preference is Galatoire's with Commander's Palace a close, close second. I would go to at least one of these one of your nights.

I see you mentioned Redfish Grill. If ...

Had an awesome meal at Flights last night. Their thing is you get 3 smaller size glasses of wine, entrees, salads, desserts, etc. to sample a wider variety. The elk I had was phenomenal.
