Re: Dead snow geese
Forgive my ignorance, but is this something that is dangerous to humans? Should I not handle these birds? I know you weren't trying to scare anyone, just don't want to take any chances.

Re: Dead snow geese
I figured it was natural causes myself. Just didn't know if the bird flu was running rampant again or not. Picked them up, no bands or midget rattlemoccasins, but I really would have liked to have just seen either one of those...

Dead snow geese
Should I be worried about finding several dead snow geese in a couple of flooded bean fields next to each other? No apparent signs of being shot. The geese are roosting in these fields at night and we jump them up when we go hunt in the mornings. Found a couple the other day, and could see two more ...

Re: Legality question
Thanks guys. Kinda what I figured, that it counted towards an "other" duck, but just wanted to make sure. Wingman, you want to chime in here?

Legality question
Does a mallard/something else hybrid count towards your limit of mallards? In my mind I don't think it does since it's not technically a mallard. This came up the other day.

Re: 2 4 wheelers stolen last night
So you take "some type of surveillance" and immediately think surveillance program enacted by legislature? Dang dude...reading too much into this thing.

Not name calling, but your post stating that it is my responsibility to prevent theft to my stuff was stating the obvious at best. If law enforcement puts a tracking device in a 4 wheeler or puts close surveillance on one, wouldn't that be considered a "sting operation" without ...

Re: 2 4 wheelers stolen last night
Well, the first bike was chained to a tree about 20 feet from my house, with key taken out of it. Cut chain, pushed bike 80 yards up steep incline and onto a trailer. Second one was still on trailer, key out of it, and trailer had one of those straight locks on it. Don't know how they managed around ...

Re: 2 4 wheelers stolen last night
Mine was taken from my yard Friday night. 2008 Honda Rincon on a trailer. I guess I made it too easy for them to pass up. Seems to me law enforcement would do something about this like putting tracking devices in 4 wheelers or some type of surveillance. This is my 2nd bike that has been stolen in 4 ...

Re: Jamming benelli sbe-2 question
My .02 worth. I bought a stainless steel recoil tube and spring for my SBE2 and put it in, best thing I've ever done for the gun. I've hunted everyday in this cold weather, and it hasn't missed a beat. Cost is about 50 bucks maybe, but well worth it.
