That blind will have it's 10th birthday next season. And "yes" the water was much higher than usual....that blind is sitting on the levee. All the rain this season was unbelievable.

I learned from an extremely reliable source that a fellow duck hunter killed a 5 1/2 foot rattelsnake in the greentree area at the O'Keefe Management area on January 10th. Hardly a season has gone by in my life that I haven't seen a duck with those parasites. DU or Wildfowl (don't remember which) did an article on it a couple of years back. Don't remember the name of the parasite though. That would be a source you could check out.
