Liability Coverage for Hunting camps

Our carrier for many years is cancelling our hunting club's liability insurance on our camp. Do any of you know carriers that provide this coverage? We have never had a claim in 20 years. Any help would be appreciated.

Canada Geese Problem

I just planted 4 acres of brown top millet and since it is close to my pond, I am expecting the geese to wander over and start pulling up the green sprouts of millet. I have counted 27 on occasion and they do not even run from you when you walk by. They do occasionally move to a neighbors pond, but ...

Thanks to the supporters of PB Blaster. I left the choke submerged for almost two days. Got the choke out a few minutes ago. I own a Browning and acknowledge it is a good gun. My Benelli has not presented a jamming problem---yet. Thanks again to the real experts!

Choke Stuck/Gun

I have a Benelli that when I try to remove the modified choke, it will not loosen. I took it to the place of purchase, they tried removing the choke after cleaning the gun. They broke a wrench trying to remove the choke. The only solution seems to return to the gun to the manufacturer. Anyone have a ...

Sweet Gum Trees

Sweet Gum Trees--The Delta seems to have an over supply of these trees and I'm trying to determine what most owners do with this timber. I feel if we cut these trees, either the underbrush would expand, or the oaks would benefit. Duck or deet habitat would be enhanced IMHO. Any thoughts you have on ...

I own an A5 for 30 years and its only limitation was being a 2 3/4. I bought a Beneli 2 years ago and must say that on several first shots, I have failed to fire and that is the pits. I believe that if the shell is loaded by the buttons, it is chambered tighter and will fire. If by chance, one loads ...

Cutting of Brown Top Millet

I have 4 acres of brown top millet that has tremendous seed production, but is actually greener than I would like due to recent rainfall. Although it was planted July 1st, the browning process is lacking. If I want to hunt it on opening day of dove season, my gut is that I need to bush hog it now ...

My favorites are Minnon's(sp) (Palace Casino-2nd floor), high end, Chimneys (on beachfront--Gulfport); Pier Four---Casino Magic-Biloxi, higher end; Best buy for the buck is the McElroy's Harbor House and mostly seafood; Fisherman's Wharf in O. S. is equally nice and more economical.

Excavator Rental

I need to rent an excavator to remove some beaver dams in wet areas. What are my choices in the Greenwood area? I work with a Kubota on the coast, but I don't see that choice in my limited checking around Greenwood. Rubber tire will not work in some of these areas. I appreciate anyone's help.

14 Ft. Cammo boat

I am planning to purchase a new 14 foot camoflouged boat for duck hunting this fall. I am curious what vendors someone would recommend. Being in Gulfport, there seems to be few offerings of camo boats. The last boat I purchased was from a dealer on H98 in Hattiesburg. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for sharing this, I read with intense interest. I've always admired old folks. One thought my Dad gave me when he was 50 years old, I being about 22, probably did not agree, was "son, you don't live 50 years and not learn a lot about life." Now that I am 55, I greatly respect what my father ...
