WHILE TRAILING A WOUNDED DEER DURING OCT MUZZLE LOADER....HE JUMPED THE DEER...HEADED SOUTH A MILE INTO MAHANNA.....

THIS HAPPENED TO ME MONDAY ON A COUNTY ROAD BETWEEN CHOTARD LANDING....AND HWY 61...IN THE SOUTH DELTA....

The blind that you see is on Cypress Lake..on the map.....we locals call it five mile....4-miles due east of chotard...lake is about 5 miles long....north of mahanna 1.5 miles.....

Finished Golf Friday after....or should I say David Coleman finished it for me......

Went to the cabin...caught ...
4- 5-6 lbs striped bass...first time ever at my camp....
..6..croppie...nice size..
4 cypress bass.....
4-large mouth....

all while fishing from the bank.....total time about ...

Just checked the river.......there will be lots of folks headed that way because the mississippi river has started droping.....will start pulling water out of chotard...albarmar...steel bayou....little sunflower and the sunflower......the weather man has reduced rain to friday only...cooler Sat ...

The Hoot has been going for about 20 years.....great gathering of guys ...starts Thursday....seting out trout lines....in many of the lakes around ......Butch Newman started it years ago...lots of guys from around Newton area and lots of coaches..
