Went to Mahannah this weekend to check out the dove situation for this coming up weekend, and was very surprised to see that there is almost no corn in the whole WMA. There is about a tenth of the corn that there was last season, if even that much. Just wanted to let everyone know.

There used to be a lease that bordered Mahannah in Cypress Bayou, but I don't know what the deal is with it anymore. The guy that owned it died and someone bought the land and since (to my knowledge) has done very little with it.

I was wondering if anyone had used the Columbia Omni Tech Parka? A friend of mine offered to sell me his brand new parka for really cheap because he only uses Drake and I wanted to know if Columbia is any good or not.

Has anyone used one of the Killer Weed layout blind kits? If so do they work pretty well?

What's some reasonably priced boats? Does anyone know where to get layout blinds that aren't outrageous? If so which brands are good ones to get?

Is a Timber call more versatile than a regular open water call?

I bought an original RNT before this past season. I've practiced just about every day since I got it, and I like the sound that it has. I just wanted to know about some other calls to look into.
