Changing decoy spread
I know later in the year some say to pair up your decoys and take some away from your spread, do any of you do this? does it seem to help? If you change em up what type of formation seems to work best for you? We hunt a soybean field and have about 7 dozen out

Rigged it up and threw it in the pool to try it out, works perfect- 2 groups circled for about 10 minutes or so
I did stick it in the pool and It looks like it's doing what it is supposed to do.......

Thanks, I was thinking the motor sat on the ground under the water, but it looks as if the decoys hold it up near the surface. For you guys that have one, approx how deep from the water surface is the machine? HOw long is the strings from the arms to the dekes?

Are the decoys butt up all the time or do they bob up and down? The videos on the net make it look like they are pulled down some how and then pop back up but I can't seem to figure out how it would do that.
