Re: spillway opened

If anyone gets pictures of the spillway, post them please, I'd love to see it rolling.

Saw where they had blown a levee to in MO that flooded 130,000 acres.

Talked to a friend of mine up the river and he said they are looking at blowing another levee around Cairo, IL.

This has got to throw the ...

Re: planting Sawtooth trees * pics added *

on the tree shelters, be mindful of the top edge of the tube as the trees grow up and out of the top of the tube. if the tube is not rounded off or rolled down as the wind whips the tree back and forth, it can/will tear up the bark and weaken the seedling to the point of breaking it

Re: 2,4-DB and clover question

greenbook.net is a good source to find info on chemicals. It has just about all labels in one place. Sometimes you can search for an AI and find it cheaper under another brand name, just be sure to check the % AI and the mixing instructions. You can also search for a pest and find a chemical to ...

Re: Loyal dog food and excessive water drinking

I feed Loyal to a couple of my dogs and have not noticed this and have been feeding it about 2 months+. One is a ~1.5 yo yellow lab and one is a '99 model cocker. Seems to work for us so far.

Re: New Duck Boat

mcmaster.com is a source for the aluminum sheets and foam. If prices at this site aren't competitive, at least it's a source of what material is available in what sizes. It also gives a lot of info that can be useful on what kind of foam is needed for a certain application.

Re: itchy ears

Had my 5 month old at the vet yesterday and I had him look at her ears and he said they were clean-no mites. She shakes her head sometimes too, I think out of habit and from watching another dog in the pen with her. As soon as the male dog shakes his, she will immediately shake hers. Monkey see ...

Re: Registration

Is there a process one could go thru to get a dog registered in either AKC and/or UKC if they have suitable bloodline documentation from ContKC?
From what I've read, AKC registration is closed unless both parents are AKC registered? I haven't looked at the UKC enough yet.

Are ContKC registeries ...

Registration

What is the difference on AKC vs. CKC registration other than the respective kennel clubs?

I don't want to disrespect anyone's dog over one registration or the other. I'd just like to know the numbers and statistics on Labs as a whole, which one has the most in field trials, which registration is ...

Thanks for all the feedback.

My plans are to float a small river with this boat. One of my put in points and take out points is 17 miles apart. I don't really want to try and float the whole 17 miles in one day and I don't want to stash another vehicle at the take out point. I wanted to float ...

Do you have or BBR12 have a picture of the modified bracket? I like the stealth but don't want a prop taking a bite out the boat each time you turn or having the motor run deep only to have to raise it each time I came to some shallows.

I think you're right. The motor is mounted on an offset (right side) bracket which, I've heard creates clearance issues when turning.

Are there other boats of this style you'd recommend other than the stealth?

lipsplitter, drakeshead, gulfcoast or others w/stealth exp

I noticed a picture in a reply of lipsplitter and/or drakeshead that you had ducks laid on a stealth 2000 (I think). Do you guys have a motor on that boat? If so what kind? Seems there would be clearance issues with the offset motor mount. Has anyone seen a small mudmotor on one of these?

Saw in ...
