dog question II
I force fetched my dog myself going exactly by the Mike Lardy method on his "Total Retriever Training" tape. She picked up on it quickly. That was over a year ago and this is my first dog like you. Find someone with the tape...read the articles...or pay someone. If your dog is eager to please and ...

The little rubber peep site aliners work real well. And the salt wate snaps hooked to some tangle free decoy cord worls well too.

Hailcall to Dr. Duck 2000
Send me a copy of that book C.O.D. I am in the process of writing a book myself..."What To DO at a Hunt Test"(when your dog acts like she is on crack.)
She needs to be around many dogs between now and next fall. I think I may go out to Kearney a couple wknds and make her stay in a holding blind ...

At the hunt test in Collierville this wknd I met a guy that had a Chessy. He showed me some pictures that he had you take for him. I knew before he even said who did them that they were yours. Thanks for sharing your work with us on the sight.

MSHRC Anyone?
I believe the orange ribbon is for dogs who pass the junior hunter test. Not much of a challenge...Any hunting retriever worth his salt should be able to do it. That being said...that is what I am running my dog in. Will move up to Senior next fall. I believe Sr. and Master has different color ...

A quick question for all the professional LAB trainers!!
I agree that sit should mean sit until given a release such as "ok". Just the way I taught my dog and seems to work well. The key to the whole thing is consistancy of the training and reinforcement(positive and negative).

site been down? or just me....
I had the same problem judge. I am sure glad she is back up and running. Didn't realize how much I would miss catching up with what was going on here. Don't know what the problem was though.

Has everyone checked the classified ad
I know of many who have paid much more for land to lease. While I have not done so... One man's trash is another man's treasure. If you don't think the price is a good one-so what. I see things everyday that I think are over priced but I don't see the point in trying to belittle the man selling them ...

Recoil spring
I have read you guys' posts in the past talking about the recoil spring that is in the stock of Benellis. I did not realize my BGH had a similar spring in the stock. I was just ignorant about how exactly the gun operated. When I took it apart on Feb. 1. I cleaned the crap out of it...I thought. Got ...

Northern States Seek Earlier Dove Seasons
It sounds like they want a dove season when the doves are there...Kinda like we want duck season when ducks are here. If they pass a early opening day for those guys, will they have a shorter season?

Plug fouling question???
Thanks for the info guys. It only happened once last fall during some preseason scouting. While hunting this year it did great...I was meticulous on my fuel mixture and kept a wrench and plugs in my gun box. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything else. Thanks [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin ...
