Re: Where is Panther and Delta National
In my opinion, panther is way too overcrowded with the current split up system they went to this year. Freakin hunter every 50 to 100 yards apart, some with class and some totally without. People are not afraid to set up 50 yards from your spread then highball all morning long. Then when you finally...

Re: Hero vs crackberry
I am on my 3rd Blackberry curve and I love em. Once u get used to the Blackberry layout they are very user friendly and tough. Wife lost my first one and I gave her my second one and she loves it as well. The only thing that sucks about cellular south blackberrys and all their phones I think, is you...

Re: Here's a hunting thought....
Wow that's great. I was one of those 600,000 hunting Wisconsin this season. I will say those were the safest guys I have ever hunted with other than my dad. They wear full head to toe blaze orange including gloves. They like to do man drives in the middle of the day and everyone switches to shotguns...

Re: FYI: Remington 700
Alright. How do I find out if I have a bad one. Bought my wife a 700 .270 10 years or so ago. Haven't shot it a whole lot (maybe 1 box), but it did go off on her one morning in the shooting house. Scared her bout to death and she couldn't hear for days. She is very safe with a gun and I was shocked ...

Re: What to do in Minneapolis,MN
Depending on how much time you have to kill, you could ride about an hour east to Chippewa Falls, WI and check out the Jacob Leinenkugel brewery. They give free tours and free beer samples and it is a really nice place. That is one of the most popular beers in that area. Oh yeah, make sure you get s...

My latest creation
A couple years ago I posted my first attempt at a homemade duckboat/pirogue. It worked well and was extremely stable but was not very efficient due to the barge-like shape. It was formed out of styrofoam covered with fiberglass and eventually got a few small leaks and became waterlogged. It was a 2 ...

Re: Where is yo family from?
I guess I am a heinz 57 but my last name (Lassabe) is (Cajun) French descent. Mom was a Hollingsworth which has English/Irish roots if I am not mistaken. I have been wanting to do a lookup for a while now. Lassabe/Cuevas, Hollingsworth/Ladnier. Wife is Norwiegan/German: Knutson/Schindler. My poor ki...
