Re: Homochitto National Forest Hunting with Dogs

Re: Camping places?

We took the kids to the Black Creek in Brooklyn late this spring/early summer. Went through black creek rentals... stayed on a sandbar about 300 yards from rental place, canoed down the next day, camped out that night on a sandbar that we found, and canoed in to the pick up point the last day ...

Re: Why i don't like hunting deer with dogs

Who would run deer with a yellow lab???

by the breeding, looks to me like a mtn cur, aka squirrel or coon dog-not a deer dog.

jd he might be telling the truth, and just lost his sq dog; he might not own any deer dogs.

i'm curious, when you called him did he even want the dog back? was he ...

Re: Question about stained concrete floors

I agree with what some others said regarding the time and labor it will take to re-stain; however......

If you are still wanting to do it, you will need to remove the sealer and wax seal that's currently on the floor. To do that, you will need to identify if the concrete has a smooth texture, or is ...

Re: Things found in the woods....

Yeah I have actually seen a place in the woods that looked like a city used to be there...but it had to be from an era not long ago. You could see the streets layed out and sometimes see the curbs running along beside it...it was really freaky feeling back there. Now I guess it could be compared to ...

Re: Jobs???

Not trying to put a damper on your search for a different career, but you might be hard-pressed finding an estimating position in comm construction without a very, very stacked portfolio of previous projects under your belt; especially in your salary range. Again, not trying to rain on your parade ...
