Brine beforehand and put a small piece of bacon between each breast half as you stack them tightly on the skewer, and then lay 3 long strips of bacon over the top. Usually get 14 to 18 halves on a skewer. Smoke at around 275 degrees unti...

Courtyard on the corner of St Charles and Canal was $89 the weekend before Thanksgiving. Decent enough and close to everything. Parking was addiitonal $30 I think.

Re: Smartweed and tupelo gum breaks?
I remember in the late 70's the DEA (or whatever they were called at the time) used paraquat to kill some "weed" fields. Made a lot of folks really sick (I think some died) from smoking bud that had been previously treated with paraquat.

Re: Browning Shotgun Experts????
I'm no expert, but I think a lot of the pre WWII Brownings had the safety on the front of the trigger guard. I inherited a Remington (A5 patent) that has that kind of safety also. A couple of years ago I was looking at A5's on Gunbroker and ran across a lot of them.

Any pics of those big snapper?
I was on a trip a few years back when we caught some upto 21lbs and I think 23 won the Orange Beach rodeo for October of that year. 27-28 would be HUGE. 21lbs wore my butt out!
Congratulations!

Re: BB Bold/I-Pod/MP3 player question
the 2.5 to 3.5 adapters can be found at BestBuy or on Ebay. For my 8830 I use the adapter and a 3.5 cable (male on both ends) and plug into the aux port in glove compartment, but a FM transmitter will work also (never found one that worked that well in a car though)

Re: How do you eat your fish?
depends on the fish. Smaller usually leave in the bones. Bigger ones get filleted.
I only keep trout under 14" that will get eaten withen 24 hrs....they get gutted and thrown on the charcoal with the head and skin still on. mmm-mmmm
