Gun stock

I have a gun that needs to be re-stocked and i am thinkin about making one myself. Has anyone had experience making any stocks? Any tips would be helpful.

Killed a decent 8 point two days ago. His rack wasn't as impressive as the shot. Me and a buddy stepped it off at 160 yards. Suprised myself when i saw him wabblin'.

Someone tell me how to put a pic on here and i'll get a pic of him up.

Summit Viper. I have had mine for about 5 years and wouldn't take anything else into the woods. Never had one problem out of it. It's light and super comfortable.

I got a CVA Optima Pro last year. I would recommend it. $180...accurate...easy to clean. I will be huntin with mine this weekend.

I shoot Rocket Steelheads. They are expandables that i haven't been able to tear up for 3 or 4 years....haven't broken a blade yet.

I am shooting T/C 250 grain Shockwaves and 150 grains of 777 powder. I was really suprised how accurate my optima turned out to be. I would feel real comfortable shooting a deer ...

I bought a CVA Optima Pro last year. 50 cal....synthetic stock. I put a Nikon Pro staff 3-9x40 on it. I wouldn't hesitate a second shooting a deer at 150 yards. It is easy to clean and a blast to shoot. Best of all it only cost me $180 (without scope). The only negative is the weight....that thing ...

Time for some new dekes. The ones i have now are some cheap bass pro specials. They have been deformed and just plain crappy from day one. I don't wanna spend a fortune....any suggestions?

I saw 3 deer and thousands of geese yesterday morning. Sky was black with them. I am pretty close to Arkabutla....geese were following the Coldwater River.
