Thirty or so years ago I killed two transmitter ducks on different weekends at Hillside that were banded there. The Fed. almost stroked when I brought the second one to the check-in station.

Eating Ringbill

Before ya'll jump all over me for killing divers, we did shoot a few Ringbills, and being curious I breasted them along with the gadwalls and teal.

Yesterday I marinated them all together in Ranch, lemon juice, Lee & Perrins,
and a spoon of spicy mustard. I put a jalapeno slice on each breast ...

If you're looking for a great auto at a decent price, look at the Remington Spartan 453. I've shot every load from dove to 3 1/2 without a single hiccup. It handles and swings well,a nd for the price it can't be beat.

No need to buy the extension tubes for the Peet. Just get a couple of pieces of PVC that will slip over the short tubes. When I get home I'll measure mine and post the dia. to use.

There's a guy who has a Nikon Buckmaster for sale on the MDWFP forum for $125. Though all of my other scopes are Leupolds, I bought a Buckmaster for my CVA Kodiak and I am impressed with it. It is very clear and the eye relief is fine for a M/L.
