There are a lot of inexpensive calls these days that are easy to blow and therefore great for beginners.

I recommend the Buck Gardner Double Nasty call and his instructional CD. I take mine in the truck as it is not allowed around the house much.

You most definitely can call ducks very well with a Buck Gardner call. Try it.......... they work as good as most any others.
