Ah ain't no "stinkin" lawyer but it's highly likely that since he (apparently) knowlingly gave you a worthless check the "contract" (buy/sale) between you two for the gun was/is null & void from inception.

Therefore, before/if this fella commits a felony with "your" gun it might be prudent to ...

IF, you got his DOB & SSN off the DL there is no place he'll be able to hide for long.

When I lived in the Magnolia state ('76-'86) it was a felony to knowlingly "utter" a hot check.

Plus, if he's crossed a state line with an illegally obtained firearm, the ATF boys might be interested in his ...

Carry Lite Decoys

Have you looked at the "new" RedHead Equalizer deeks in BassPro's catalog @$29.95/dozen?

Was in Springfield, MO a couple weeks ago and checked them over...look an awful lot like Flambeau's...paint looked good...durability?...only time/use would tell.

1x time on the wal-mart Berreta

Before heading to Wally World would suggest you check out a Franchi 912..at ~$599 (black synthetic) they're only a few bucks more and you get the 3.5" capability if needed..also, try out the 24" barrel version..might be the best of both worlds..good luck.

What are the differences between Baretta AL390 and Walmart 3

My A390ST & AL390 SilverMallard(s) had the magazine cutoff & gold triggers..the latter weighed a few ounces less primarily due to wood being trimmed out of the forend.

Have looked at the WalMart gun(s) which lack mag. cutoff, gold trigger, etc.

What concerns me is how they can sell them for ~$150 ...

Beretta/Browning

Adding to GC's comments..a Beretta rep told me the Etalyn boys paid a visit to the assembly plant in Portugal..discovered some things which apparently didn't sit well and the licence agreement was abruptly ended.

BTW, this is the same facility where the BHG's are assembled including the 3.5" models ...

Flyway Question

Gentlemen..The following is from an article in the Delta Waterfowl Report Vol. 2001 Issue II;

"SEASON FRAMEWORKS MAY CHANGE"

"A plan has been tendered that would change season frameworks across the flyways. The proposed change would afford northern states the option to open duck season on the ...

Longest winch ever made!

8-9 seasons back a couple boys were out on Ft. Gibson lake in a rig way too small for the water they were traveling..20 degrees and 30+ winds..capsized and wound up cling to willows in 10'+ of water..one of them had a cell phone in a zip loc bag..called his wife who in turn ...

870 pump question.....

Judge..place a fired 3" hull into battery and cycle (shuck) the action..if it's a 3" configuration (ejector spring location) the fired (3.25") hull will fly cleanly out of the ejection port.

Next, I'd check the forcing cones for roughness..would appear as coarse circular grooves or ridges in the ...
