I play it several time a year and it has to been one of my favorites.

That is a mallard drake. No cross. Probably a this year's hatch. Go to Canada in mid to late September and most all your drake mallards look like that. We have killed some up into mid-October that still have not greened out.

Anyone heard anything about some Alabama guys hunting yesterday not knowing the season was closed. I heard they were on Malmaison and I heard they were at Matthews Brake. Looking for the straight on this story.
