Re: Does anyone still chase ducks?
Unfortunately, yes. Just about the time I get ready to pack it in for good, I have a couple hunts like this past weekend that keeps me coming back for more. Duck hunting is like that crazy ex-girlfriend you just couldn't shake. Hit a little dry spell and a late night drunk dial, then BAM!

Re: New legislation proposed to require permit to hunt with dogs - includes duck dogs
Seems to me a couple representatives wrote a bill that would go over about as well as a david allen coe song at blm rally so at the end of the day they could tell their big money donors "we tried" without alienating their kin folk by specifically targeting their trudichuns. They've probably got a ...

Re: USM
With USM's history of being a fairly strong defensive program i was gonna suggest Pete Golding until I looked up his salary. Dammit boy! He'd have to take a $600k cut! With the money P5 programs are paying coordinators these days, the hiring pool for schools like USM is pretty limited.

Re: WRP Question
Nope. A new state forester has come and gone since this thread died. Dan has moved on to greener pastures I believe and no longer working with WRP. He may still hang around and chime in if I'm wrong. Hell, it's not even called WRP anymore. It's now ACEP-WRE. I'm about as far removed from the program ...

Got put on "telework" today. So I'm headed home to "work" with my wife, a 6yr old daughter, and 5yr old son. At least there aren't any bourbon shortages yet.

Re: Floodwaters
Would be nice to see a map of the flood coverage area at the proposed pumping elevation of 88' with a cropland and forest lands overlay to see all these "wetlands" the environmental groups are claiming the pumps will drain.
