Re: Buying ATV out of state

Vickers, There are only 2 things in life that you have to do. One is die, the other is pay taxes! I’m wondering why you wouldn’t title a purchase like that. Is it only to “attempt” to avoid taxes? I ask this because I don’t know (but I know you do)....can you insure it without a title? If so, what h...

Re: Nothing to talk about?

Good advise. My condenser fan also went out on the week-end & the places that have then in stock are closed then. Luckily I didn’t have to buy a window unit, but did have to move upstairs. It’s an easy fix once you have the motor. To reiterate the capacitor caution, make damn sure you discharge ...

Re: Dove

We had a good many Sunday afternoon, but only a few of the ones that didn’t die then elected not to show up Monday. Maybe they took Labor Day off!
Seems like most of them are mini this time of year.
I wish they were all the size of the ring neck I killed!

Re: Governor election

It would suit me just fine if we were required to put a blue ink thumbprint on our ballots. It’s the only way to be sure. At least the paper ballots can be re-counted. If something went wrong with an individual machine it could lose all its stored data. blue ink thumbprint, huh? Never would have pe...

Re: Yazoo Backwater Pump back in the news

Ok. Who else has seen the billboards? "If you liked Kemper, you'll love the pumps." And who is the .org that is shown? After hearing all of the news lately, I would think that these guys would be left without a leg to stand on. Likely referring to the Kemper County clean coal power plant ...

Re: MS Wildlife Extravaganza Boycott

Based on the news reports I saw, the boycott was successful! The placed looked like a ghost town. I hate it for the venders that count on events like this, but I hope it made a statement to MWF! Andy - I posted a duplicate to see if I could delete & it worked for me (the second time). Seems to b...

Do y’all remember the guy that got tatted out by his neighbor for grilling some gooslings? Loved his quote as he left the courthouse! "I ran afoul of the law and laid a huge egg," Gunn said as he left the courthouse on Wednesday. "I have received a gaggle of problems as a result...

Re: State of the Migration

Not sure I fall into the DS braintrust category, but I do have an option based on historical observations over the last 25-30 years. I agree that the 3 reasons you listed are all variables of the equasion. Additionally, and one not listed that should be high (if not at the top) on that list is PRESS...
