Definitely not a joke, and yes, my buddy that killed it, is mounting it.

A shotgun shell hull! Had been there a while too. On the second pic, the right side bout half way down, you can see where it has worn into his beak!

If you get there and they say the river is out and you'll have to walk from the check station, go home!! Ive done it and its no fun!! Other than that its a pretty good place. Have had some good hunts there in the past.

Marengo is the name of it. My cousin went last year and really enjoyed it. I'm gonna try to go with them this year. June 7th is the date.

My water pump went out at 41000 mi. on the same model truck. Just my luck, right after the warranty went out.

Anybody ever had much luck on the early season teal hunt down there? A buddy of mine got drawn for the 19th.

Did you use that bracket to bolt it to your bumper at the end of the wings? If so, i guess you just have to get used to it, don't know anything else.

I have the same guard and have no problems. I would make sure that all the bolts are tight like jwarwick said. Its not that hard on that model. I installed mine myself with an impact wrench but a ratchet will work fine.

If we had ordered one of these tags will we still get a renewal notice in the mail? My truck tag expires at the end of this month and so far I haven't recieved a notice in the mail. Usually I would have it by the end of December.
