There were still no ducks today, and not looking good for the rest of the week. High temps next week won't help anything either. Got really bored this afternoon and sat on the rive for a while. Took one woody, didn't see a total of 20 woodies and no mallards. It's looking BAD!

I've had a few reports from central miss. that there are a few birds around. I'm gonna try and do some hunting in the morning, eat some duck tonight, and hit it bright and early. The cool weather is urging me to start warming up my duck calls. Anyone else feeling the urge?

Mr. Jack, can't wait to hit the hole with ya' and hopefully shoot some greenheads and sprigs this year. I went to put the plug in the levy the other day and was almost struck by a copperhead. I'm sure glad there are none of those around when it's time to do the hunting.

This is the first time i have ever been hunting crows during duck season because the duck hunting was so terrible. i was just wondering if any of you had gone to drastic measures as i have. good luck this weekend, we all need it.
