Very nice looking lab, and I hear he does fairly well in the field.
We've got the Rebs coming to town this weekend, should be a showdown. Hope everything is well in LA. Are you ready for another trip to Mardi Gras this year?

i really enjoy checking out your posts now. i never know what picture i might get to see. if the pic had been a little higher, i may have gotten in the background. it was good to hear from you the other night. mom and dad are already talking about coming down for mardi gras. hope to hear from you ...

There were still no ducks today, and not looking good for the rest of the week. High temps next week won't help anything either. Got really bored this afternoon and sat on the rive for a while. Took one woody, didn't see a total of 20 woodies and no mallards. It's looking BAD!

I've had a few reports from central miss. that there are a few birds around. I'm gonna try and do some hunting in the morning, eat some duck tonight, and hit it bright and early. Being outside this evening was downright "ducky" feeling. Good luck to everyone and maybe Miss. will kill a few ducks ...

Thanks for all of the reports. I'm finishing up classes tomorrow and was just wondering if I was going to have any ducks to go home to this weekend. Sounds like there may be a few, but if there aren't just tons of ducks in mo. and tenn., are they farther north than that still??? Can't ever tell ...

Appreciate the report. I take it that ya'll are still having good luck hunting up there. We have a few ducks scattered around here, but it will take cold temps up your way for us to get a push of ducks. I've heard that there are lots of WMAs in Missouri that you cannot hunt but they feed the ducks ...

Missouri and Tennessee

I was just curious if any of you had heard from friends or relatives north of Mississippi that would know where all of the ducks are now. I've seen a few sporadically around central Miss., but nothing to speak of. At least it's looking better than last year. I hope there will be a few ducks ...

The weather is starting to turn a good deal cooler now. I'm hoping that since it is in the 20s in Missouri right now the ducks start to head our way. Rained a couple of inches at the house on Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm thinking about going home tonight to hunt in the morning if dad gives a decent ...

 I was shocked to see us sneak out of Memphis with a win this weekend. Someone needs to learn how to motivate our team.

Saints Win

:D
It's starting to become very fun to watch the Saints play this year. Does anyone know if the Falcons game is sold out yet?
The cool weather is urging me to start warming up my duck calls. Anyone else feeling the urge? 8)

Mr. Jack, can't wait to hit the hole with ya' and hopefully shoot some greenheads and sprigs this year. I went to put the plug in the levy the other day and was almost struck by a copperhead. I'm sure glad there are none of those around when it's time to do the hunting.

Shooting crows instead of ducks

things are going well in starkville. nope, can't even get a limit on crows. got two, they are spooked easily and are really hard to hunt. they shouldn't be so smart. i'm looking forward to mardi gras too, been getting it squared away with all of my teachers. have a good week and ccome up whenever ...

Shooting crows instead of ducks

This is the first time i have ever been hunting crows during duck season because the duck hunting was so terrible. i was just wondering if any of you had gone to drastic measures as i have. good luck this weekend, we all need it.
