Re: Restaurants in Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA??

In Charleston, Rue de jean has really good burgers and a good brunch, hominy grill is a must for breakfast but expect a wait, five loaves bakery, definitely go out to Shem creek and eat at Red's. It is in mt. Pleasant and where the shrimp boats dock. If you go to Sullivan's Island(my favorite beach ...

Re: Any of these places worth eating at in Tupelo?

The Grill is always a good choice and next door to the hotel. Creole shrimp wrap is always good, as are the crab cakes. The hotel restaurant has a good Sunday brunch if you are still in town. Zapata is good for Mexican and china capital is the best choice for Chinese.
I am not familiar with creekside.

? for taking pictures of birds in flight

How do you setup the camera for shooting birds in flight? do you shoot in manual, shutter priority, etc? what shutter speeds do you use? aperture? iso? sunny and cloudy conditions. I have a Nikon d40 and just got a 55-300 VR lens and I am hoping to find a duck or two at camp this weekend. Thanks.

Ms. Ruth's for lunch. The main restuarant is right outside of town in Verona but they have a Ms Ruth's Express in the Gloster Creek Village food court. If it is chocolate cobbler day then you must try it.

If you are in Crowder around 11am, Montea's (sp?) rib plate at the Crowder Grocery is the best $10 ever spent. At night, 3-way in Charleston can be on time; just remember to bring your own whiskey.

I'll cut the Walgreen's for $95 and a kit-kat. Kit-kat is non negotiable. Dan will you let them know for me?

Re: Nasal Surgery

I had a septoplasty a couple of months ago. I wish I would have done it a long time ago. The worst part for me was the packing because it was so uncomfortable and having to sleep sitting up on the couch for 3 nights (or trying to sleep). Keep the chap stick handy. I heard horror stories about having...

Re: suggestions for house dog

We have a Brittany and a Lab in the house. I love my lab but I will always have a Brittany. They have tons of personality (and energy). They shed very little and love to be around people.
