There are many opinions on barrel length. I consider the following when discussing/choosing a barrel length.

Shoot the barrel/choke/shell/pellet size combination that patterns well. Take the gun and shoot a piece of cardboard to check the pattern.


Keep in mind that the choke has a lot to do with pattern performance. I have had instances where full chokes did not perform as well as modified when using ...
