nightforce 5.5-22 with np-r2 reticle. i have 3 of them if that speaks to how much i like them, and i shoot out to and occasionally over 1000yds. i use talley 2 piece bases and rings.

i can promise you that the sweeney is well worth it. we have been using them for probably about 20 years and started using the directional feeders when they came out. one of mine sits on the dam of a very deep hole (23ft straight down) and got knocked into the pond in 1997. i dove down and hooked it...

i usually compare between noaa.gov and wunderground.com (which is about the best for details).
