Most of the ones we've taken while duck hunting have been some we caught flying just a little too low but we did have one come into the dekes a couple of weeks ago when there was some low fog. First time I'd seen that happen. I believe he would have landed in the decoys if I'd given him the chance.

Don't worry, it won't get thrown away. Gonna take it to the skeet range this weekend and shoot a couple of rounds through it to see if I can duplicate the problem with 2 3/4" loads before I send it back to Benelli next week.

Never had a problem with the SBE. Shot it for 6 years. Just the new SBE II.

I'd have to agree with hillhunter. Buy some quality clothes to layer with and most times you'll be able to go without a bulky parka. I use good long johns, fleece turtleneck shirts and a windproof fleece pullover jacket. Only wore the columbia parka once this year when it was pouring down rain.

I have noticed the hevi-shot produces more residue and once thought that may have something to do with it but this past weekend, the gun was clean and still failed to chamber a follow-up shot (that was just about straight up over my head).
